It does come with the belt and you put the Wii remote into the belt. There were so many songs to do right from the beginning and the better you do, the more that you can unlock which gives you incentive to do a good job and work out hard. We made it a family thing and all did it - even the kids were dancing with us. You can buy more belts if you want to and up to 4 people can do it. We didn't have additional belts, but if we weren't wearing the belt we just did the dances anyways. It was fun and I hope others get it. We were sweating up a storm by the end!

Thanks for sharing your experiences with this game. I have been wanting to buy this game but I wasn't sure if it was going to be any fun. I absolutely love playing dancing games on my Wii because of the calories that you can burn while dancing. You are having fun while exercising at the same time. I have tried Just Dance 2 with the Just Sweat option and it didn't really seem like a real workout. This game may just be what I am looking for.

Absolutely! My sister came over today and we were trying it together and she has been having trouble really feeling that workouts are working for her lately and after even just one song she was feeling it. I think with many of the dance games you have to put a lot into it. What I like about this one is that it has a belt and there isn't a pad or mat that I have to worry about staying on. I can really get moving around and I feel get a better workout. I ended up going with the Zumba 2, if it makes any difference. From reviews I heard it had more in the way of variety!

I finally got zumba for the wii and i burned 380 calories in 45 minutes. It's ok. Not the same as class experience in my opinion, but make you move!

I would definitely agree that it isn't the same as the class, but I would say that it is what you make of it. I had some friends that said that they didn't like it because they could just hold the remote and sit on the couch and the game still thought they were doing "great"! I finally got so sick of hearing it that I had to ask the question "why did you buy it if you are sitting on the couch and pretending". I put as much into it as I can because I figure you are only going to get out of it what you put into it!

I love doing Zumba for the Wii. I currently have version 2. I never did purchase version one as version 2 was newer (with new dances) and about 15$ cheaper than the original when I bought it at Best Buy after Christmas (in January). I use it as my main workout (meaning I spend the most time using it) 2 or 3 times a week. I try to alternate weekly, which is why some weeks have 2 times and some 3. I try for at least 45 minutes each time. Zumba is a lot of fun and the music is so addicting.

I have also been trying to use it about 3 times a week. I use Tae Bo on the other days if possible so that I feel like I am getting more toned, too!

I can't believe how much I work out with it! I was telling my sister that I work out so much more than with any other video or game because I am constantly trying to better my own score or try to get more awards! I will tell myself I am going to do it for half hour and will end up doing it for an hour! I also have the second version! I love it!!

I have Zumba for the Wii and we absolutely love it. It isn't as much fun as a regular Zumba class, but since I am not very coordinated I am good with doing it in my own home in private. It will definitely give you a workout and make you sweat.

I use the Wii Fit Plus on the machine and love it. It really helps me get in shape and the scores make it a little bit more competitive between my kids and I!

If you like the Wii Fit, then I think you would really enjoy the Zumba. I, also, have the Wii Fit and found it to be fun; but I also found that after awhile I was sick of doing the same things. Thus far, I have found with the Zumba that there are a lot of content and keeps you from getting too bored!

LOL - I laughed at your post because I think I lost more calories laughing while I watched my husband doing Zumba, than doing it myself! He is definitely never going to be on Dancing with the Stars! (Not that I am the best dancer in the world); but he was laughing, too, and said he is definitely glad they made this into a game you could do at home rather than having the public humiliation!
