Should I use Creatine before or after my workout?

People who love bodybuilding and spend lot of time in it are always very concerned about their intakes as their diet plays a vital role in shaping their muscles. They have a proper diet plan, which they make under the guidance of a professional trainer while some takes advice from the dietitian as well. In order to get quick results, some bodybuilders choose food supplements such as creatine but their main dilemma remains to take creatine before or after work out.

Creatine is basically a muscle building supplement and as per some researches it doesn’t matter at all that when you take that. Rather the consistency of having that supplement is more important to attain the desired outcomes. The guidance from a professional dietitian or qualified trainer will be handy in knowing the exact amount and time for taking creatine as well as to get good health.

Some professional bodybuilders suggest taking creatine after the exercise as the muscles are exhausted and it will be great to refuel them. That food supplement having creatine normally takes around 15 minutes to deliver its results and the user feels the effects immediately. An important thing to remember is to take grape juice and drink plenty of water while having creatine. Further, it will be better to have creatine in powder form despite of having it in liquid.

At the same time, there is another school of thought that says that it will be good to have creatine before the exercise especially if the bodybuilder is in the loading phase. It can also work really well if the dosage is taken in half before the workout and the remaining half after finishing the training. However, in both the cases of pre and post intake of that supplement, the final decision should be taken by the bodybuilder himself, as he is the best person to judge that in what way he is getting most of the benefits.

If someone is having creatine for the energy boost then taking creatine on training days will be more than enough and one does not require having it on off days. In addition to that, the studies have revealed that it is not important that at what time you take it, the creatine before or after workout is not important, in fact, the presence of this food supplement in your muscles is more vital. As long as it is there, it will work and shows it results.
