TRAINING:  Team training in morning at around 9:30, and then we get in and do our privates in the afternoon for about two hours.

When and why did you start training for fighting? About three years ago I started Muay Thai; I wanted to still be competitive at a sport after playing basketball.

What ranks and titles have you held? Gladiator Challenge heavyweight champion, Victory Fighting Championship heavyweight champion.

Do you have any heroes? My two sons, Kaleo and Keawe (ke-aveh)

What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? This is the reason I got into this sport, but my job is not finished. I want to leave a legacy in this sport and make a name for my family.

Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn?

What was your job before you started fighting? Owned a private security K-9 training business

Specific accomplishments in amateur competition? Two amateur fights, both ending in KOs – the first in 10 seconds, the second in a minute.
