TRAINING: A typical day is training in the morning, either ground work or sparring, then in the afternoon I do strength and conditioning, and in the night I do either wrestling or standup.

When and why did you start training for fighting? I started training when I was 16; I only did ground at first, then I started getting into standup a few years later.

What ranks and titles have you held? British OMMAC lightweight title; purple belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, winner of Ground Control Grappling Tournament (Absolute Division), winner of Ren Bu Kai Grappling Tournament (Under 75k)

Do you have any heroes? None

What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? Fighting in the UFC is like a dream come true to me; it is was I started fighting for.

Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? Yes, I went to college and got qualified as a brick layer

What was your job before you started fighting? I worked in a bar

Specific accomplishments in pro competition? World record for most consecutive victories via triangle choke.

Favorite grappling technique: Triangle

Favorite Striking technique: Straight right hand
