TRAINING:  A typical day of training starts with a good breakfast, then training noon-2, post-workout meal, treatment/ rehab, training 6-8, dinner and a movie, bed time at 10:30pm.

When and why did you start training for fighting? I started training for fighting when I was 24 after my football career was over because I needed to challenge myself and I wanted to hit again.

My father and Arnold Schwarzenegger

What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? It is the pinnacle of MMA and the very highest level of the sport. It means testing myself against the very best in the world on the very highest platform.

Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? Arizona State University- Communications

What was your job before you started fighting? College football player for ASU Sun Devils

Specific accomplishments in amateur competition? 2004 Sun Bowl Champions Arizona State University

Specific accomplishments in pro competition? Finished both of my first two pro fights via knee strike to midsection

Favorite grappling technique: Wrestling- “blast double” from clinch, Jiu-Jitsu- “triangle choke” from guard
