Troy Alves
Once upon a time, Troy Alves was a 99 pound runt in school. Now, he’s a 222 pound bodybuilding star. During his early days as an athlete, he was a high school baseball champion. In his sophomore year, he decided to give bodybuilding a try. This helped him become a better baseball player, and he ended up getting a full scholarship to college.
Unfortunately, while weight-lifting in college, Troy Alves was injured and could no longer continue playing baseball. He then quit school and joined the USAF. In 1996, he attended his first bodybuilding competition. He competed in the NPC USA Championship, where he ranked 8th.
Troy Alves participated in many competitions over the years. In 2003, he attended his first IFBB competition, the “Arnold Classic”, and placed 10th.

After a long journey, Troy Alves now stands as one of the most well-known and established bodybuilding pros in the world. In addition to participating in shows, he has also worked as a personal trainer through the years. He has appeared in many fitness magazines, and even appeared on the cover of FLEX. He currently resides in Peoria, AZ and owns his own store, Pro Nutrition.
