Lifestyle become “COOL”er for living
When you are serious about results, you will be serious about finding a good cooler. A good quality cooler, with multiple compartments and easy storage of meals, supplements and shakes will not only make your dieting easier, but also more enjoyable. Companies like Six-pack Bags created a “cool” cooler that makes space for:
• Tupperware dishes
• Protein Shakes
• Water Bottles
• Nutritional Supplements
• eating utensils
• Ice Packs
• Fruits and yogurts
• Protein Bars
Once you have invested in a carry-along bag here are some tips to make your “cooler” life work:
COOLER LIFE STYLE TIPS – On Sunday make half your meals (or all of them and freeze half)
- Chop a variety of veggies: Green (yellow/red)Pepper, Cucumber, Zucchini, Broccoli, Sweet/Red Onion, Celery—put into a LARGE Tupperware with a little water and lemon juice to keep fresh
- Buy small liquid holding Tupperware/glass containers to keep a shot of flax seed on you
- Put items such as melba toasts/muffins into 5 small Ziplocs (1 for each day)
- Buy bagged lettuce or pre cut/wash your lettuce on Sunday and keep in an airtight large Ziploc/Tupperware
For those of you who are new to this type of life, here is a sample diet to get you started. Sample “Cooler” Diet
Breakfast: Fruit burrito 1 tbsp Fat Free cream cheese or soy cheese spread ¾ cup mixed fresh berries Protein shake mixed with water and 1 home made ‘clean’ muffin or homemade granola 2 slices Ezekiel Bread
Lettuce, mustard, 1 slice tomato
3-4oz (palm size) of seasoned turkey breast (tbsp of paprika, cumin, black pepper & teaspoon of salt in a small bowl- add 1 tbsp of olive oil—makes 4 – 5breasts) Afternoon snack:
Tuna salad (1 can of tuna with 1tbsp of fat free mayo)
4 Melba toasts
Dinner:
Steak Stir-fry over 1/2cup of Quinoa Grain -2tbs of Flax seed oil (take as a shot)
-2 scoops of protein powder (aim for one under 10gms of carbohydrates)
-apple sliced up with NATURAL nut butter (2 tbsp) on top
-Premade shake with 1cup of each (berries, protein powder, skim/nut or soy milk) ½ banana **add in 1 tbsp of wheat germ and either 1tbs of NATURAL nut butter OR Flax seed oil**
