Dexter Jackson
Dexter Jackson is a well established bodybuilder who has proven himself on the professional circuit. He came in first place for the 2008 Mr. Olympia and has performed well in other competitions. 2008 was a very good year for him, since he won the Australian, Russian, and NZ Grand Prix’s as well as winning Mr. Olympia.
Born in 1969, Dexter Jackson has been participating in bodybuilding competitions since 1992, when he placed third in the NPC Southern State’s Lightweight division. . In 1995, he won his first championship as a Light-Heavyweight at the NPC USA Championships.
Dexter was always an athlete. In high school, he starred as running back and ran the forty meter dash at a very fast speed – 4.20. After high school, he decided to work and take care of his pregnant girlfriend rather than go to college. He worked as a cook until he was 20, when his friends talked him into entering a bodybuilding contest. Because of good genetics and hard work, Dexter Jackson’s bodybuilding career started with great promise.
