LeAnn Rimes Says She Isn’t Skinny Now, She Just USED to Be Fat.




There has been a lot of controversy surrounding LeAnn Rimes’s shrinking frame recently, but the star has taken to a TV chat show to defend her weight loss. The 29-year-old singer appeared on Chelsea Lately on February 9, 2012, and spoke candidly about her weight.

When asked by Chelsea Handler why she appears much thinner than she was, the blonde singer replied, “I was a baby! I was fat. I had baby fat. I grew up. I work out. There’s nothing else to explain,” according to an article in the Daily Mail.

Chelsea Handler also admitted that she had seen the star snacking on chocolates backstage. Although slim, LeAnn Rimes looked happy and confident as she chatted with the talk show host, as seen in pictures by the Daily Mail.

Wearing her shoulder-length locks in tumbling waves, the singer rocked the ombre trend with her strands gradually becoming a lighter shade of blonde toward the ends. Rimes rocked a printed mini-dress that flaunted her toned legs and made her look polished and confident. The singer sported a tanned complexion–which is due to her many recent vacations–and appeared glowing. Sticking to minimal makeup for her talk show appearance, Rimes rocked a clear gloss, bronzed cheekbones, and simple, shimmery eye makeup.

Rimes chose makeup that enhanced her natural beauty and a dress that accentuated her slim figure. With a skinny belt that nipped in her waist and a cut-away dress to enhance her cleavage, the Blue singer knows how to dress for her shape.
