GOMAD

I'll explain it first for people who have not heard of it..it's an acronym for Gallon of Milk a Day and it is just that. The diet is you just drink a gallon milk each day and they say you will gain 25 pounds in 25 days.

So any of you guys try it? I was going to but I was told it was a fad diet and unhealthy to do.. :cry:

I tried about half a gallon of whole milk a day.I did start getting bigger but added more fat gains than normal so I ended that experiment.If you are a power lifter or not to concerned about fat gains then this is a great option. You will grow in size and strength.I personaly limit my milk to about 1 cup a day.

I have tried a similar thing with the 20 rep squats and milk programme. I drank a pint of milk with every meal. Milk has lots of protein and calories, you will gain weight if you drink lots of milk, but a lot of the weight will be fat, unfortunately.

Guys if you maintain, you will not be fat. Although, I am guessing you guys found it hard to do that as do most people who try this diet. Everybody would be doing this if it was without fat gain. You did gain some muscle though right?

GOMAD is kind of catered to the people who struggle to eat that many calories in a day physically.GOMAD is for skinny active/athletic highschool kids trying to gain weight for football. It is extremely effective, and very successful, for its intended demographic.

As well as for college kids who are pretty fit who still want to put on weight, right?
