Major health problems associated with being unfit

Lazying around all day is bound to make you unfit because your muscles are not put into practice and there are health problems that can affect an unhealthy person. What are some of these health problems?

A sedentary lifestyle will distort our gene expression, since our genes expect us to be active, as our ancestors were through most of our evolution. A sedentary lifestyle can manifest into a plethora of health problems, too many to mention.

Of course, there are a wide range of health issues that can affect people who are overweight. They can affect people who do not exercise enough or who eat poorly. Being overweight is tied to heart disease, diabetes, etc. Of course, there are also many people with these conditions who are not unfit.

Depends on what kind of laying around people are doing all day. If they just lay there and do nothing then it will have a ton of health problems for them! I for one work from home so some people think I just lay around all day. However, I actually work on my computer, then I end up getting up and moving around for a little while. So this does not really classify as laying around all the time without doing work.

Working on your computers is probably worse than doing laying around. Not only are in sedentary, you are stressing your nervous system. Of course we all have to work for a living, but work = stress. You should try your best to keep active throughout the day, even if that means walking down around the house every 30 minutes.

Talking from my own experience, swollen legs is a problem to me because of sitting down for many hours while using the computer. If I try to do some kind of an activity which stretches my muscles, I get muscles stiffness which hurt like hell. So now have decided to be doing a bot of exercise every evening. Painful joints can come up due to lack of exercise.

So do you guys think walking on the treadmill for 20 to 30 minutes a day would make a difference? Think about it from the perspective of an overweight adult who watches TVs every night. Could he lose all the weight, a lot of weight, a considerable amount of weight, or a small amount of weight? I know someone very close to me who has only seen a small amount of weight loss come from this. I believe it's very dis encouraging to see this as a result of hard work and dedication. :(

personally i have been fit and unfit and the energy gained when your healthy is unreal. its like being unfit is a curse and as soon as you get fit you have a limitless amount of energy comparatively
