Why doesn’t my Pre-Workout Supplement always work?
Industry experts are responsible for the formulation and production of products. In fact many of the powdered products on the market give you inconsistent dosing.
One serving may contain a lot of the active ingredients while the next has almost none. This is due to a phenomenon known in the Pharmaceutical industry as “BLEND SEGREGATION”. Essentially, due to the different weights, sizes and electrostatic properties of each ingredient, you will get inconsistent settling and blending of the ingredients with the container. This can happen twice, once during the blending and packaging of the product, as well as in its container on the store shelf.
A lot of companies to compensate for this will state in the supplement facts “proprietary blend”. The only reason for the proprietary blend is due to the fact they cannot tell you exactly how much of each active ingredient you will get in each scoop of supplement.
How can you compensate for this? One way is to buy the ingredients separate and take according to your needs. The other way is finding a product that solves this problem. While in the United States last year I purchased a pre-workout supplement “Muscle Rush” and what they had done was address this very issue by creating ALL-IN-ONE-GRANULES. Each of the granules in Muscle Rush contains all the actives in a uniform dose. What does this mean to you? It means accurate dosing from start to finish, which ensures you get the results you are looking for.
