Met-RX Protein Plus
The Met-RX Protein Plus Protein Powder talks about giving you the ultimate 46g of metamyosyn to help you to support muscle mass. They say that they will give you the ability to support muscle mass while giving you 3g of l-glutamine, 3-7g of carbs per serving, and it tastes great being low in fat. They say that this uses only the purest and most effective ingredients, and apparently it gives you all that you would need. This being said, the question is, does it work?
The Good
Met-RX Protein Plus uses whey protein. Metamyosyn is actually just another name for whey protein. This being said, it does have a high amount of that whey protein for better results.
The Bad
They have more carbs than they do amino acids, obviously using more ingredients that would interfere with results than one ingredient they focus on as being ultimately more important. This being said, metamyosin is actually no better than any other form of whey protein. It is not at all at the top, and yet they have a tendency to charge about 3X as much. There is no reason to spend the extra money when you can get truly higher quality proteins for less money.
The Skinny
Met-RX Protein Plus has too many carbs and otherwise ingredients that would interfere with results rather than supporting it. It does not actually have anything that would be all that effective, and they use one name that isnt all that great in all truth so that they can charge more, because to most, it seems more exotic. This being said, we would definitely recommend that you find something else.
