Start the day the healthy way with a tasty bowl of granola. This delicious, slow-release breakfast will keep you full till lunchtime.
Granola with raisins, apple and coconut
1tsp vegetable oil
100ml maple syrup
1/2tsp ground cinnamon
150g rolled oats
25g sunflower seeds
25g pecan nuts
25g pumpkin seeds
3 apples, cored and chopped
1 coconut, grated
low-fat Greek yoghurt, to serve
Pre-heat the oven to 150C. Mix the oil, honey, maple syrup and cinnamon in a large bowl then add the oats, seeds and nuts, apples and grated coconut. Spread evenly on a baking tray or sheet and bake in the pre-heated oven for 15 minutes.
Serve with fresh yoghurt.
