The Muscle Building Guide




Are you interested in building muscle? Both men and women would like a strong healthy body. They know that it is important to eat right and exercise to have a strong physic. They will be healthier and feel better if they keep in shape. It is easy to do, but it takes some time and dedication. No one wakes up with strong, big muscles. They work for them and keep working so they will continue to be in excellent shape.

It all starts with exercise. You might consider joining a gym. Some people train at home with their own training equipment. Either way the important part is to stay committed to the process. A trainer can often offer suggestions and many times they are free with a gym membership. It is also possible to hire one for a one time evaluation. They will offer suggestions on how to build muscles in the correct way. Most people will lift weights one day and do cardio the next. It is important to give the muscles a day to rest.

It is important to do the exercises correctly. If you are doing them wrong, you are not working the right muscle. Practice slowly and make it perfect. As you get better, you will be able to increase the speed. Weight lifting is serious business and needs to be taken that way. Doing incorrect moves will cause injury to the muscles and no one wants that.

You will need to do a certain amount of reps. That is what it is called when you repeat the exercise over and over. You are trying to cause stress on the muscle and that will cause it to increase in size.

Maybe it is time to change your eating habits. All the exercise in the world will not help if you are not eating a healthy diet. Try to add protein to your diet. Eat five small meals a day. Egg whites for breakfast. Chicken for lunch and some leafy green vegetables. Dinner should be lean meat and more vegetables. Snacks can be a handful of nuts or some low fat yogurt. A protein shake before bed can be great for those late night munchies. Supplements are not necessary and should be taken with caution.

Building muscle is something that all young men like to work on. Most will not take it seriously, but for the few who do, the results will be very rewarding.
