The Duke Diet Review:

Background
The Duke Diet & Fitness Center at Duke University began in 1969, and has since become one of the most respected weight loss centers around. Programs are designed for individuals on a personal level. The focus remains on not only healthy eating habits and dieting, but also on living healthy for life.
What to eat
The Duke Diet plans all your meals for you, based on your individual needs, such as current weight, age, and level of fitness activity. The book includes 218 healthy recipes that are easy to make from home. The diet consists of low fat foods eaten in moderation, and leans towards fresh fruits, vegetables, and lean meats. You will choose either the traditional diet or the low-carb diet, and will choose from six different food groups.
The Good
The Duke Diet online will plan all your meals for you. They will also customize a fitness plan to your needs so that you are not following a generic-good-for-all type of plan. This plan is not so much a diet, but a goal to maintain for a lifetime of healthy eating habits and exercise.
The Bad
Most health insurance plans do not cover the cost of this program.
Exercise
When you become an online member, you will be able to customize exercises based on your physical attributes. Cardio exercises, flexibility, and strength training are taught.
Costs
$14.95 for the book, with online services costing $4 a week.
