For diet cabbage soup




The Cabbage Soup Diet is a very straightforward meal plan which is designed to help dieters lose ten pounds a week. However, since it’s very restrictive, it should only be used for short-term weight loss regimens. This diet is ideal for individuals who want to lose a few pounds within a short period of time, while anyone wanting to lose more than ten pounds should not stay on this diet for two weeks in a row. It is advisable to take a break in between each set of seven days.

 

Cabbage Soup Diet Plan Structure

 

The plan is structured around different foods during each day of the diet. On the first day, the dieter is allowed to eat some fruit with the soup. Safe drinks include water, unsweetened tea, and cranberry juice. Leafy vegetables can be eaten with the soup on the second day. A baked potato is okay at dinner time while vegetables and fruits can be added on day three, but the baked potato would need to be cut. On day four, bananas and a few glasses of skim milk are acceptable. By this time, the dieter’s cravings for sweets should be reduced.

 

Meat is finally allowed on day five. Beef is recommended, although it can be substituted with broiled fish or baked chicken. A larger quantity of meat can be eaten on day six, along with leafy green veggies. On the last day of the cabbage soup diet vegetable juice and brown rice are allowed. As for the cabbage soup itself, at least three bowls are recommended per day.

 

Cabbage Soup Diet Benefits

 

The most obvious benefit is weight loss. This diet can help an individual lose at least one pound a day. The best part about this diet is the simplicity of it as no calories need to be counted. Dieters love knowing that they can eat all they want, just as long as the food isn’t fattening. Also, eating green vegetables such as broccoli, spinach, and cauliflower is believed to help prevent cancer.

 

Hydration is another benefit, since cabbage soup has a lot of water. Water, of course, flushes pollutants out of the body. Since fast food and junk food are not allowed in this diet plan, the skin will begin to clear and appear more radiant. The primary reason for this is because acne is caused by greasy and sugary foods, neither of which are part of the Cabbage Soup Diet. Another great benefit is that the body begins to be more energized because the body is being flushed of waste and toxins. Unhealthy foods clog up the system and cause an individual to feel sluggish all the time. Once the system is cleansed there is an almost immediate sense of rejuvenation.

Overall, the Cabbage Soup Diet is a great way to lose weight quickly, but it’s not for everyone. Those seeking a “quick fix” will find this diet to be one of the best options. Because this diet restricts a great deal of calories, it is not suitable for a long-term solution to weight loss. It is intended for individuals who need to slim down a bit for an upcoming event or beach vacation. Most people who undergo this diet usually seek another regimen after the first week. Those who don’t, wait at least a month before going on the Cabbage Soup program again.
