FITFLOP
The FITFLOP program is rated 3/5
There are some shoes these days that are claiming that they can help you burn more calories just by walking around in them. Enter the FITFLOP. The FITFLOP promises this impressive feat by incorporating three different designs into the shoe. The toe, mid-footbed and heel area have all been designed to create a slightly unstable platform meaning that the body must compensate slightly, forcing the muscles in the body to stay activated a bit longer. The manufacture claims that the FITFLOP can help dieters lose weight, improve circulation and improve posture, among other benefits. There are many consumer testimonials, but more actual science and proof of these claims would be beneficial to the FITFLOP cause. The FITFLOP makes some fairly significant promises, but the question is whether or not the shoe can back up the claims. The FITFLOP's come in ten different styles, including several sandal configurations and a house shoe. The designs are pleasant enough, and the price is usually in the $30 to $60 range, making the FITFLOP much more affordable than some competitors such as Chung Shi Footwear. Chung Shi Footwear produces higher end shoes that claim to have a similar impact on the wearer. The main problem with FITFLOP is that they fail to do enough to prove that they have the science in their design to produce the claimed effects. On this front, they are clearly defeated by Chung Shi Footwear. However, the price difference between the two companies is very significant. If FITFLOP revamps their website to demonstrate in more detail how their product can achieve its claims, their rating would clearly go up. The FITFLOP makes some fairly significant promises, but the question is whether or not the shoe can back up the claims. On average expect to pay about $30 to $60 dollars.FITFLOP Review:
