#### Background_Fat Chance: Losing the Weight Gaining My Worth is the true life story of Julie Hadden, who was a contestant on season 4 of the Biggest Loser. She discusses her lack of self-confidence as an overweight person and how she transformed her life and completely changed her view of herself and her life. She discusses her childhood and the various experiences that led to her gaining the weight.

The book also has a foreword by Jillian Michaels. As Michaels is a well-respected fitness professional, this foreword adds serious respectability to the book.

What to Eat

Julie Hadden discusses some of her favorite healthy recipes in this book. She ended up losing and keeping off about 100 pounds.

The Good

Fans of The Biggest Loser will find reading about Hadden's story to be quite inspiring. They will also appreciate the inside tidbits from behind the scenes of the show.

The Bad

Julie Hadden is quite religious and discusses how god was by her side during her journey. This philosophy might turn off non-religious readers. She does a lot of talking about how her faith in god got her through the show. Those who are not Christian may find that this aspect of Fat Chance is enough to make them put down the book and not finish it.

Also those who are not fans of The Biggest Loser may find Julie's stories about what it was like to be on the show to be boring and irrelevant.

Julie discusses her current workout schedule and gives the readers tips for staying committed.
