Does the Weight Watchers Diet Really Work

Weight Watchers is a popular diet, but is it useful if your goal is to lose 5 pounds in a week? And what if your goal is a little more aggressive? It is one thing to lose 5 pounds in a week and be done with it, but what if your goal is to actually lose 20 pounds in 1 month? Well, I think regardless of how much weight you want to lose, this diet works if you follow their points system.

How the Weight Watchers plan works Despite their proprietary points system, the plan is not all that hard to follow. All foods are assigned a point value. Depending on your current weight and how physically active you are, you consume a certain number of points each day. Consistency is very important, but you can eat pretty much anything you want, as long as you keep portions in check.

How to start Weight Watchers You can sign up online or go to your local meeting.

Breakfast Scrambled eggs, half a cup of chopped tomatoes, two slices of whole grain toast.

Lunch Grilled chicken salad, one small whole wheat pita.

Snack Fruit smoothie.

Dinner Cooked shrimp, veggies and a piece of corn.
