Background

What if there was a magical pill that blocked carbs? Well, don't worry, there is indeed such a pill. Dietrine is a “Carb Blocker” that is purported to be safe and based on natural ingredients. Apparently, Dietrine does not have any harmful stimulants, which is good. Instead Dietrine works by neutralizing a digestive enzyme called alpha amylase. Alpha amylase converts starch into glucose. Obviously, if this process can be blocked, some of the carbohydrates ingested would pass through your system meaning less calories will be absorbed.

What to Eat

The idea is that Dietrine will do much of the work for you so that you don't have to focus too much on dieting or exercise. However, as we all know, dieting and exercise are the key ingredients to losing weight and keeping the weight off.

The Good

While pills are often not the way to go, at least Dietrine is based on enzymes and is made from natural ingredients. This is a far step rom many other diet pill options. It is common for other pills to contain unhealthy ingredients. Credit must be given to a diet pill that is enzyme based. If you are determined to take a pill, this could be one to consider.

The Bad

An over-reliance on diet pills is never good. Taking pills will never treat the core problems associated with weight-gain. Does Dietrine work? Without more evidence and more medical studies, that is difficult to know. However, the circus surrounding the product on the Internet does not help bolster its claims.

Exercise

Like all diet pills the focus is, of course, on the pill and not burning fat through exercise. Even if a pill like Dietrine does work, exercise obviously comes with a host of medical benefits that a pill cannot yet match.

Cost

Expect to pay somewhere around $40 for a bottle online.
