Background
Diet At Your Doorstep is a diet plan that delivers all of a dieter’s meals. (Not surprisingly, these meals are delivered directly to one's door!) The Diet At Your Doorstep plan has been designed to deliver meals to a dieters home five days a week with an optional plan for six days a week or even seven days a week.
In terms of success, the people at Diet At Your Doorstep state that a sampling of one-hundred dieters produced an average weight loss of four pounds per week.
What to Eat
The menu includes many low calorie and low fat offerings. One should expect to see a good deal of chicken and eggs. However, the overall variety is fairly high and includes beef and a variety of seafood and vegetables.
A sample menu for the day includes, a Sicilian omelet for breakfast (made with egg whites), beef and shitake mushroom barley soup, chicken stuffed zucchini, Southwestern poultry salad and a lemon-pepper basa with Swiss chard and rosemary potatoes.
The Good
The variety of diet is high and there are several different types of proteins available. Many of the vegetable picks, such as the Swiss chard, are high in nutrition. The end result is that dieters should have a decent nutritional spread.
The Bad
Overall, the Diet At Your Doorstep plan seems to be lacking fresh fruit. While there is some fruit available, this is an area with room for improvement. Also this plan will probably not be good for vegetarians.
Exercise
Obviously, Diet At Your Doorstep is about the food and serving prepared meals to dieters directly to the door. In this regards, the program is a success.
Cost
There are numerous plans available for those living in the South Florida area. Meals average about $8 per meal, which is obviously pretty reasonable considering the fact that the meals are prepared for dieters and delivered to their homes.
