Denise Austin Fit Forever Review:
Background
Created by Denise Austin, the diet was designed to help women lose weight and keep it off through a combination of exercise; a sensible and realistic approach. Austin earned her specialized degree in exercise physiology from the University of Arizona in1979, and has been getting America in shape ever since.
What to eat
Foods are limited to those with good fat content, fiber, and lots of fruits and vegetables. Portion sizes are watched, and must be of a recommended amount. Foods with a high amount of fat, carbohydrates, and calories are off-limits.
The Good
The dieter learns not only how to watch what they eat, but also to also feel good about themselves, which is arguably more important than the diet itself. There are also three separate plans the dieter can choose from.
The Bad
The diet requires some discipline; it will take some getting used to, butt he rewards are worth it.
Exercise
This is a major part of Fit Forever. The exercise is a major part of the diet, and is a the heart of the diet. There is not only a suggested daily regimen, but there are also suggestions for additional mini-regimens throughout the day.
Costs
The cost of the program is variable. Although there are a number of approved items (from a book to a treadmill), the diet itself is essentially free. There is also a line of videos and books, starting at approximately $11 per item.
