Coconut Diet Review:
Background
Coconut oil has a number of great properties, some of which make it great for skin lotions. In essence, coconut is alleged to help with weight loss, thyroid conditions, skin care, digestive health, diabetes, common viruses and cholesterol levels. That coconut oil works well for creating beautiful skin, as well as certain skin diseases is not up for debate; however there is some debate as to whether or nor coconut oil actually helps in terms of weight loss.
What to Eat
There is no actual diet associated with this diet, but there are plenty of coconut oil recipes available to dieters.
The Good
This is an interesting diet, as it involves a product not usually associated with diets. Also, the site does offer a community forum, which is always a good sign when it comes to diets, as it allows for support among those on the same diet.
The Bad
There are a few problems with this diet. The biggest problem is that coconut is a known allergen, making this diet not for everyone. There are no fat burners or appetite suppressors associated with this diet. Also, this diet requires a substantial lifestyle change, which may not be welcome for most dieters. Lastly, there are number of claims regarding what coconut is capable of; however, those claims are unsubstantiated. Although the food is no doubt delicious, coconut oil has limited uses in the kitchen.
Costs: The book costs $13.
