Celebrity Fit Club Review:

Background

The popular reality TV show started in the Uk as Fat Club. By the time it made it to the US in 2006, it had changed its name to Celebrity Fit Club and started featuring stars, all of whom were competing to lose weight and win money for their favorite charities. While there was no specific diet linked to the show at the beginning, eventually one was developed by Dr. Ian Smith, who called the plan The Diet Smash program.

What to Eat

Those who want to join the plan can log on to the show’s official site and follow the same plan that has been working for the stars for years. The diet is basically a low-carb plan that calls for the banning of fruits and most grains. Snacks are discouraged. Menu plans offer plenty of choices and recipes, so it will be easy for everybody to find something to eat.

The Good

Lots of expert tips from nutritionists, personal trainers and psychotherapists, aimed to control not only the physical challenges of eating but also the mental and emotional ones. Lots of success stories and before and after photos available on the website.

The Bad

May be too difficult for some people to give up all the foods they love. Requires lots of cooking and recipe planning. There are no refunds if you decide you want to cancel your membership.

Exercise

Workout routines are personalized and include both cardiovascular and resistance training. You are expected to exercise every day.

Costs

Joining the site costs $19.95 a month + $8.95 sign-up fee. Monthly fees go down when you join for longer periods of time. For example, it costs only $12.95 if you sign up for a year.
