California Wine Country Diet Review:

Background

Haven Logan is a nutritionist and master chef with an interest towards finding a healthy lifestyle based on California Wine Country living. Her diet encourages a lifestyle as well as the food, which is based of the cornucopia of California foods. The lifestyle is one based on simple luxury, with plenty of time to relax with friends and family, as well as for the occasional rush. As such, it’s interesting that an entire lifestyle is to be created rather than the diet merely fit to the person’s lifestyle, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing if the lifestyle supports the person.

What to Eat

The diet is based on eating simply yet luxuriously. The cuisine is basically Californian (emphasizing California-raised foods), but smaller portions of other cuisines are allowed. It’s worth noting that wine isn’t just allowed, but that it’s encouraged.

The Good

This diet encourages luxurious lifestyle, as it encourages a healthy lifestyle, at least in terms of supporting the person psychologically (a rich lifestyle is one of fewer worries, at least in theory). Also, this is one of the few diets that encourages alcohol use; this is of note because most diets attempt to eschew alcoholism while ignoring that wine can be part of a healthy lifestyle thanks to its own antioxidants.

The Bad

The biggest problem with this diet is the cost involved with maintaining the lifestyle attached to the diet.
