Bernstein Diet
The Bernstein Diet program is rated 3/5
Bernstein Diet Review:

Background
Dr. Stanley Bernstein, who heads the Bernstein Weight Loss clinics, is a renowned physician and an expert in nutrition. Since 1974, his clinics have been helping obese and overweight people win the battle of the bulge without risking their health in the process.
What to Eat
Because this is a medically-supervised program, the diets are personalized and designed only after an extensive consultation with the patient. Still, everybody is put on a very-low calorie diet (usually under 1,000 calories a day), which consists of regular foods that can be prepared right at home. An essential component of the program is the extensive supplementation that needs to be followed, including vitamin injections. No carbs are allowed, and proteins are limited to a very specific list that includes white fish, chicken breast and shrimp.
The Good
A great diet for diabetics, as it helps you lose weight without causing glucose imbalances. While on the program, you are required to visit the clinic 2-3 times a week for medical follow-up and control. Weight loss is quick and guaranteed.
The Bad
The frequent visits to the clinic can be a burden. There is no fitness component in the program. The program is expensive and there are no refunds or money-back guarantees available. There is a risk of gaining the weight back once you are off the plan.
Exercise
No exercise.
Costs
$160 per week, plus $315.65 for the initial consultation (fees are not refundable).

Context importance
I’m going to start out today’s article by asking a seemingly irrelevant question but, trust me, I’m merely using it to make a point.
