Believe It, Be It Review:

Background
Believe It, Be It is a book written by Biggest Loser contestant Ali Vincent. Vincent was actually the first woman to win The Biggest Loser and she lost 112 pounds on the show. Ali gives behind the scenes stories of what it was like to be on the show. She also gives inspirational advice to others who are seeking to drop pounds.
What to Eat
Believe It, Be It doesn't spend a great deal of time discussing what to eat. Of course, you can always get information on the kinds of foods she eats by watching The Biggest Loser or buying The Biggest Loser Cookbook.
The Good
Readers will find Ali Vincent's story to be quite inspirational. After reading about how the author got her life back through losing weight, readers will be inspired to make changes in their own life. Also Vincent talks about various strategies that work for her.
The Bad
Some readers may feel as though Vincent is too obsessed with working out. Other people may have trouble integrating this level of exercise into their lives. Additionally, this story may be seen as more of Vincent's biography and not enough practical advice for how to lose weight.
Exercise
Vincent talks about how she still wears a device that tracks all the calories that she burns each day. She discusses her exercise schedule. In fact, she can’t go more than a few days without exercising. In the book she encourages readers to integrate fitness into their lifestyle.
Cost
This book costs about $15.
