Atkins Nutritionals Review:

Background

The Atkins’ Diet is one of the most popular diets out there because it works, and it’s easy to understand; far too many diets involve carrying around books or require too many steps. Like with other popular diet plans, there are associated products, such as books, foods, and supplements, to help make the plan money. And given that the products actually are healthy on their own account, and prevent dieters from cheating on their diets, they fill several different roles.

What to Eat

Meals are low-carb, with an emphasis on meats, fruits and vegetables. Snacks are encouraged, as long as they aren’t abused. The products sold under the Atkins Nutritionals label include everything from shakes to snack bars, cookies and protein powders. They are meant to complement the diet, be used as snacks and help the dieter feel less deprived for giving up sweets.

The Good

The products are created to help anyone on the Atkins’ stay there, and to enjoy the diet a bit more. They can help those missing sweets and carbs.

The Bad

The sheer amount of items available is interesting, if nothing else. However, dieters are encouraged to avoid using the Atkins’ Diet long term, as there are some medical complications that may develop. The products contain lots of artificial ingredients, including artificial sweeteners, which have been linked to several health problems.

Exercise

Exercise is recommended on the back of many products.

Costs

Costs depend on the product you buy and the amount.
