A Twitter Workout Challenge with Jenna Fisher and Kristen Bell
Veronica Mars star, Gossip Girl voice, and lover of sloths Kristen Bell has added new credentials to her resume: digital motivator. Bell, who Tweets at @IMKristenBell initiated a 30-day workout challenge for herself and her nearly 650,000 followers in May–and has even recruited celebs like new mom (and wise lady) Jenna Fischer and trainer Michelle Lovitt. They call themselves the #30DayHomies, and they are awesome.
The challenge is super-simple: just work out one hour a day, every day, for 30 days. The 30 days can start whenever you want, says Bell, and feel free to complain along the way. Just yesterday, Bell Tweeted, she got an unexpected workout when her plumbing went very wrong, flooding her basement with unmentionable liquids.
I spent the morning cleaning up the 3 inches of “pizzazz” that flooded my basement after the toilet down there exploded & gushed like a geyser. It was an unhappy event but the basement is now clean, & I’ve gotten my hour of heavy lifting.
Yikes. Fischer, too, has had some troubles fitting in her workouts. Here’s a Tweet she sent to Bell:
Baby would only nap if I held him. Teething. Spent 2 hrs in a rocking chair. Still got in 40min cardio and 20min abs! #proud
The 30-day challenge has been really fun to watch on Twitter–not to mention inspirational. Working out with friends has been shown to help spur weight loss and improve overall motivation, so it makes sense that so many Twitter users have joined the challenge. It also helps that Bell is pretty great at engaging people on the social platform, and has become a pretty excellent cheerleader for her followers.
Hooray! This is so wonderful. You can join Bell, Fischer, and a ton of other motivated Tweeters by getting active and using the hashtag #30DayHomies.

The Health Store Industry has a vast customer base of loyal followers. Vitamins are the primary product sold at these stores.
