Nutrition and loss weight
People like to stay slim as it is considered to be a fashion statement particularly among the younger generation. However, in an effort to lose weight, they seriously compromise nutritional levels which can seriously jeopardize normal body metabolism. Nutrition is an essential requirement for the body and sufficient quantities are required irrespective of the agenda being followed.
Weight Loss and Nutrition Tips
No realistic weight loss mechanism would ever promote starvation. In all cases, some items would be strictly removed from the list of consumables only to be replaced by those which help in achieving the desired goal. Some tips for easy and fast weight loss include:
• Vegetables and Fruits: Include good amounts of both as they are rich in nutrients, vitamins, minerals and antioxidants essential for the body. Because they are low on calories and contain good amounts of fiber, there is no need to regulate their intake. Successful weight loss becomes possible by varying these items from time to time.
• Regular Meals: Regulate the amount consumed in a day and the number of times food is eaten. Making things systematic results in effective functioning of the digestive system. Erratic food habits do not promote proper digestion which causes accumulation of calories in the form of fat leading to weight gain.
• Have a Mix of All: Do not restrict to a certain number of food items alone. Whist they may rich in one element, they may lack in others which has the potential to cause an imbalance. For example, consuming a vegetable sandwich is healthy, but consuming only vegetable sandwich is useless. Eat a mix of items rich in carbohydrates, vitamins, nutrients, minerals and most importantly, fiber. This way, the body gets a combination of all which has a number of benefits in the long run.
• Do not Skip Breakfast: Skipping breakfast is the biggest blunder that can be done in an attempt to lose weight. According to the dieticians, breakfast is the most important meal of the day. It helps provide the initial burst of energy for the day and restricts an individual from indulging in high calorie food throughout the day (an empty stomach may cause hunger pangs which can be very hard to control).
• Ignore Empty Calorie Food Items: This refers to the products which are low on nutrition but very high on calorie. Consuming them works completely against weight loss and hence they should be avoided at all costs. They do not solve any purpose for the body and only provide temporary relief from hunger. Negatives include making the digestive tract sluggish which leads to inefficient digestion hence causing weight gain. Most prominent in the list of empty calorie food items are aerated drinks, white bread and processed foods.
• Water: Make water an essential part of the daily routine. Good quantities of water help in transportation and assimilation of nutrients in the body which proves to be very beneficial. On an average, consume at least 2 – 3 quarts of water every day.

Against Soy A Case
Introduction For quite some time now I have been against the consumption of soy, especially in the form of protein isolates and phytochemical isolates.
