Treatment of pyorrhea
Pyorrhea disease refers to a condition that affects the teeth socket in people. It causes an infection in the membrane that surrounds the root of the teeth. Pyorrhea gum disease also causes the gums to shrink, which loosens the teeth.
Pyorrhea is often accompanied by pus in the gums and teeth, due to the growth of bacteria, which is the primary cause of the problem. In case the teeth have not been cleaned in the right manner, after meals, it could form a mass on the surface of the tooth, known as plaque. Bacteria tend to gather in the plaque and produce toxins, which irritate the gums.
They may also cause an inflammation in the area, leading to bleeding and tenderness in the gums. Other factors like incorrect eating habits, stagnation of food particles, incorrect brushing, excess of meats and sugar in the diet, pregnancy, allergies, an injury to the gums as well as the use of certain medication could also lead to pyorrhea disease.
Pyorrhea symptoms
Pyorrhea symptoms are usually very evident. Some of the most common symptoms that indicate the presence of pyorrhea gum disease are:

Pyorrhea treatment
The first step in pyorrhea treatment is the proper and early diagnosis by a dentist. If the condition is detected at the right time, pyorrhea treatment options usually include noninvasive methods. In the cases of pyorrhea disease that are severe or were not detected in time, surgical treatments may be necessary. There are four surgical procedures that are often used in pyorrhea treatment. These procedures include pocket reduction, soft tissue grafts, regenerative procedures and crown lengthening. Alternately, there are several home and natural remedies for pyorrhea that could also be included as a part of pyorrhea treatment. Some of the common home remedies are:
Gargling with sesame oil continuously for a period of ten minutes, without throwing the oil out of the mouth.
Rubbing some freshly squeezed lemon juice over the affected gums.
Boil some water and add fenugreek leaves to it. Strain the water and drink it on a regular basis.
Drink spinach juice and carrot juice that have been mixed in equal parts
Chew some lettuce leaves after every meal, to prevent pyorrhea
Mix some salt and pepper powder in equal quantities and massage your gums to reduce the symptoms.
