Caring for your cuts, abrasions and wounds
In a fast-paced world, one never pays attention to the minor scrapes and bruises, not a surprise when the terrorist strikes are the norm of the day, but it is real vital to take care of your cuts, wounds, and abrasions and not allowing them to get infected. For example, a rusted iron nail when accidentally pricks your foot, the damage done is a trickle of blood, nothing more, but the rust becomes septic if unattended and yes, the infection could lead to amputation of the leg itself. Significant care has to be taken to nip this ailment at the bud.
Herbal remedies for wounds are helpful in this purpose. The medicine cabinet is not far off, but in your kitchen. Garlic, which you use in spices could prevent infection and therefore a bit of garlic meshed and placed on the cut or a bruise after cleaning thoroughly would wade off the bacteria.
If you further move into the kitchen you could find the turmeric, which could be used to stop the bleeding and its medicinal property helps in fighting the infection. Aloe vera leaf aids in wound healing faster. Cut a part of aloe vera leaf and get the juice or gel out of by squeezing it and apply the same on the wound. You will be amazed to see how the wound healed itself so fast. A moistened tea bag could also be used to treat the wounds. And if you are looking for a remedy for wound that has some fragrance to it, the choice is lavender. It is known to heal the wounds at good pace albeit with fragrance. Now, for some spice, the cayenne pepper could be used as the tourniquet which could stop the bleeding. Parsley leaves too could meshed and applied to the bruise, this aids in wading off the colored marks on the skin.
Now if you happen develop a scar, there are ways to prevent it with the use of home remedies for one, you can use the vitamin E capsule. The oil it contains inside when contacts the scar, it fades off the scar so quickly that nobody would notice. So, now you have this deep wound, which should take some time to heal, the important thing to do is have a very well-balanced diet consisting of vitamins and proteins. You can help yourself to sunflower seeds, roasted pumpkin, peanuts, lean beef, and dark meat turkey, which also aid in wound healing.
