Chael sonnen vs anderson silva

Is everyone ready for this fight on July 7th. The first one was amazing 2 years ago. Chael came so close but lost in the 5th round. It is going to be a war.

This time around, I see Silva taking it easily.

It's on my bucket list man. I'm so excited for this fight and I am ready to see Chael beats Silva's ass. He will definitely shake up the UFC pound for pound list.

I told everyone last time that Silva was just waiting, to tire him out and then go for it. No one believed me, until is happened. Silva is an extraordinary fighter, one of my favorites. This fight is going to be interesting just because of the BS that Sonnen has been talking. Silva said

"What I'm going to do inside the Octagon is something that's going to change the image of the sport," Silva said through a translator. "I'm going to make sure every one of his teeth are broken, his arms are broken, his legs are broken.

"He's not going to be able to walk out of the Octagon by himself. I can guarantee that."

Usually Silva doesn't say much, like that. It's pretty scary that now he has...

I am definitely rooting for Silva. Sonnen is a hell of a good wrestler with one of the best double leg takedowns in the sport, but he just talks too much trash for me to like him. I hope Silva knocks him out this time and puts him into retirement.

I'm surprised this thread didn't blow-up more with the conclusion of the match.

I have to say that it was one of the most exciting fights that I had seen in the UFC. This might be in part because I saw it on PPV with a loud crowd on a military base, and it might be because of the insane amount of hype.

Either way, I really enjoyed this fight (and I'll avoid talking about the outcome lest I spoil it for people who haven't watched yet).

Figured I'd come back in here and say I called it! Lol. The whole Hooters we were at went crazy! It was like a mob scene. Good to see that Sonnen admitted that Silva was the best and apologized, but who wouldn't after that?

Another loss, and Sonnen may as well go to WWE and team with CM Punk and Brock in an anti-establishment storyline or something. He has the trash talking down. It's the whole...Finishing that can of ass whoopin' that he has trouble with

Except for the fact that he doesn't have trouble with it. He lost twice to probably one of the best fighters ever and that is your synopsis? I have a community college pamphlet you may be interested in reading.

This fight was great and it lived up to the hype in my book. It looked like Chael was gonna pick up where he left off in the first round; he took Silva done and controlled him for the enitre round. Silva would come back; however, and land a devastating knee that hurt Chael. Silva would stop him in the second round, and is truly the best mixed martial artist ever.
