Who Is The Best Champion

When you are looking at the wrestling, such as WWE, who do you think is the best champion? I know this can be a challenging question, but who do you think has been the best champ since 2000.

I'll go ahead and say John Cena. I don't care that he isn't a great wrestler. I'm taking into account that the WWE championship requires more than it used to in the past. He's been more than a champion, he's the face of the company and love him or hate him, he's done a really good job living and working under that kind of scrutiny.

As a fan, CM Punk. Typically the great champions have been ones that ushered in change to the show or a new theme. Hogan in the 80's, Stone Cold/The Rock in the 90's. Cm Punk now.

I don't count Cena because he never really brought greatness to it. I know he was playing his role but there is nothing about any of Cena's runs that stand out. Just youtube CM Punk promo. His "shoot" promo was something not done in the WWE for a long time.

I would have to say the best one I liked was the Ultimate Warrior. Now granted he did not bring a lot of light to the wrestling world when busted for steroids and other problems, but he did help usher in the younger generation. I just hope he is able to settle his disagreements and come back into the sport.
