What vitamins do you recommend

Postby love2loveu » Fri Jun 01, 2012 4:38 pm

Currently I take flint stone vitamins. They are for my son but once in a while I will pop in two. Also, I will take biotin and vitamin B. What are some good vitamins that help with your health?

I usually take 365 brand multi-vitamin. Sometimes i'll take my flax seed, fish oil, folic acid and evening primrose oil capsules too.

Are you looking to improve a specific area of your health? Do you just want to take a vitamin for the sake of taking one, or are you looking for something connected to your working out or change in diet?

Right now I'm taking Animal Pak & Omega 3's which work great for me. Gets me all my nutrients I need from vitamins and minerals in about 13 pills per day.

Right now I have stopped taking multi's and have just been sticking with fish oil. It's the GNC fish oil but I can say that it's been wonders for my joints. I might get back on Vitamin C and I would like to try Nootropics. To Help with brain nutrients. I started eating more healthy so I feel that I don't need a multi-vitamin at the moment.

Personally use vitamin d3 since I don't get much sun at all during winter.

I only take multis and Omega 3. I think those are enough for anyone who doesn't have any deficiences.

Obviously high doses of vitamin C are a good idea for a cold. I have heard arguments all my life for and against taking supplements. Some say they are essential with our generally "junk" food diets, and others say that that they run right through a person and do little.
When you see these people starving in these third world countries you have to wonder. They come down with nutritional diseases and lose their eyesight (when a single megadose of vitamin E can prevent that). So i suspect that there is some use for them.
