San Antonio versus Oklahoma City

San Antonio versus Oklahoma City

Postby Sugarhill » Thu May 24, 2012 11:26 pm

I'm going to go with Oklahoma City. They learned their lessons last year and came back to hand out a few this season. I know the Spurs always win in a shortened season, but I'm pulling for OKC.

I may even watch more than the last five minutes of the games.

Who ya' got?

I am also rooting for the Spurs. The difference will be the experience. Duncan deserves one more ring.

I am rooting for OKC, they seem to be a very strong team. With this type of team, they are going to go far. However, I do like how the Spurs have managed to repeat themselves time and time again.

I totally agree, Spurs have the best scouts and management in the NBA. They seem to be pretty smart is choosing the right role players that can really help the team and the good thing is that they don't acquire superstars so they save a lot on the salary cap. They're very consistent, has been on the playoffs straight for 15 years.

I'm going to be supporting OKC over San Antonio. I really like Kevin Durant as both a player and a normal person. He is very humble, and talented. I never really liked any of the Spurs players, including Duncan and Parker.

We'll see how it goes. Game 1 will be tonight at 8pm EST. My take is that Spurs will take Game 1.

I have always hated the Spurs for some reason. The only thing I like about them is their cool black and white jerseys . I was really mad when OKC lost game 1 but I still think they are going to pull-through and win the series.

Spurs have been steam rolling teams this post season. I've seen nothing that suggests OKC can win this. Team Duncan, all day long. Age is nothing but a number. They are a bunch of Wiley vets. Parker really stepped his game up, and Manu can still show up when needed.

I dislike the spurs, but they are on a streak right now so I don't see Oklahoma ending that, as much as I would love to see it happen.

This is a good match up and I know I already commented, but the Spurs do seem to be dominating.
