Berto was suspended, who's next for Ortiz?

Berto was suspended, who's next for Ortiz?

Berto failed the doping test so the fight is off with Ortiz. Who would you replace Berto against Ortiz?

I know there's not much good welterweights around other than pacman and mayweather so it's going to be tough for the promoters to find a replacement. They said it's Joselito Lopez, I don't even know the guy...

Who do you think deserves to replace Berto?

I have never heard of the replacement guy either. This would be a challenge because so many of the fighters can not match up to this caliber of a fighter. Whoever it will be can easily lose the match though.

Whoever they put in front of Ortiz, I hope he gives him a good fight and not just stepping up for a big payday.

I hate Berto, he is so arrogant. I can't believe he had the audacity to show off when he knew he was a CHEAT. Sadly, I think cheating in boxing is the norm, most of the fighters are on drugs and most are not caught because of the weak drug testing regime in boxing, that's if you can call it a regime.

Definitely no one would like Berto after what happened. For me he is just another overrated fighter who just want a big payday.

Many in the boxing community - especially the promoters and commentators - were hyping Berto up as the next Mayweather, the next boxing superstar. I wonder what they have to say now? I can tolerate arrogance when it is backed up, but not when it is coming from a steroid user. Berto should never box again.

That's absolutely true. Berto and his fights were overhyped even if the guy hasn't been proven yet on elite fighters. He should be banned for a year or more to be fair with Margarito.

I think he should be banned permanently. The boxing industry needs to send out a strong message to the cheats if they take the issue of cheating seriously, I doubt they do, unfortunately. He will probably have his license approved within 2 years. Sad times for boxing.
