Can A Team Recover From A Bad Signing

Looking at all the free agent signings that happen year in and year out can be a fun thing to do. However, you know some of the teams will have some busts, while others get great returns. Since this is possible can a team really recover from a bad signing they make or does it take them years to recover?

The time it takes to recover from a bad signing depends on the contract the signee got. If they landed a huge deal, then the team can take years to recover. In the time period of this, it can be easy for them to slip into obscurity and lose fan base.

It depends when you find out it was a mistake. If it's within ht first year of the contract, you can take less of a hit in the cap by cutting the bad seed from the roster. Otherwise, you'll have to just deal until it's over with.
