Anybody tried Sensa?

Postby ValerieAnne » Fri May 18, 2012 3:50 pm

Has anybody tried the product Sensa? It's a powder you sprinkle on your food, it's supposed to help you lose 30 pounds in 6 months. That goal seems very realistic too me since I know people try to lose a lot of weight quickly (which I hear is bad). If you have used/tried it, what are your thoughts of it?

Thanks. I keep wanting to try it out for myself, but would like other peoples thoughts on it since it's not very cheap. It's bout 60$ for a month supply (unless there is a sale going on).

I saw the commerical but never tried it. It must have some sort of suppression chemical that limits your eating for a couple of hours I bet. Otherwise I dont see how it could really work as they describe it. I wouldnt really consider something like this a supplement would you?

No, I wouldn't consider it a supplement. I didn't notice the other category until after I posted this, and I don't know how to move it. I can't remember what is in it, but yes, it's supposed to make you feel full faster.

well, since it's almost impossible to find a label for it that says what the actual ingredients are, I'm going to guess that it's a waste of money.

The above is an interesting little article. I don't believe in weight loss products such as sensa. It is also not FDA approved, doesn't have to be to be sold, but why should I trust it if not?

"Individuals on the sensa weight loss program only have to do three things, and the first is to sprinkle the Tastants, which are sodium, calorie, and gluten free, on their food – no matter the food – every time they eat. This is why it has been referred to as the sprinkle diet. The second is to eat quite slowly, while the third requirement is to stop eating the moment that they feel full."

Well other than the first step, the other two are recommended when you are trying to lose weight anyway so what is the need to sprinkle anything on your food? You eat slowly and savor your food, you will start to feel full with eating less calories. I don't think I would bother with the Sensa diet. As another poster said, it isn't even FDA approved.

My friend is in the process of trying Sensa and she has yet to see much progress. I'm a little skeptical about Sensa. Most times if it seems to easy, it's just another weightloss scam -- and there are many weightloss scams unfortunately.

I keep seeing the commercials for these. The people are on a beach, dancing and shaking Sensa on ice cream cones and other foods. I think it's a placebo effect. You are already doing things that are suggested when you are trying to lose. I think this is the cause of the weight loss not the magic shake crystals.
