Olympics

Postby Isabellas2007 » Thu May 17, 2012 5:51 pm

With the Olympics coming up this year is there any sport you are planning on watching? I know I am looking forward to the swimming events, but also the track and field. Any you plan on catching specifically though?

The Olympics is all about the track and field events. I'm not interested in most of the non track and field events. I will probably watch some of the football (soccer) because I'm a big football fan and I will be keeping an eye on some of the players linked to my club.

The Olympics also offers swimming events which is what I like to see. The track and field not so much, but I do like the swimming because it is a challenge that can be controlled by a couple of different factors including how bad the water is moving in the pool!

This. Looking extremely forward to the Football. Great Britain should have a decent squad! I also like seeing all the youth and wonder kids playing. Going to be a lot of football this summer because of the Euro's too. :D

Yes, the football will be some great matches! I forget that football in Europe is soccer. I was trying to figure out when they added Football American to the Olympics! lol

I wanna see who will win the gold in Greco wrestling. I'm personally a big fan of Greco and I will be supporting a buddy of mine that is competing in it.

As a basketball player, I will be watching a lot of the basketball matches. A lot of players for Team USA are either injured or not going though...

I am also excited for the olympics. Can't wait to see Usain Bolt for the 100m dash and Michael Phelps for swimming. I am also excited to see the US Basketball team facing the best of Europe.

Yes, basketball is great during the Olympics! I really like seeing this sport as it helps to highlight the diversity of the sport and I enjoy the upsets. I just hope it is not that bad of a sport this year as it was the last time where some teams lost by blowout margins and that is what was shown on television.
