Real Wrestling?

I came into this thread thinking it was legit about wrestling (the real kind) to discuss the likes of Dan Gable, Cejudo, and Cael Sanderson. Guess I was mistaken. Does any one actually pay attention to NCAA or Olympic wrestling?

I watch the Olympic wrestling. However, the NCAA matches I do not watch very often because it is hard to find on television. I know the sport is better like this at times and does not have all the hype the professional sport has.

I love watching the NCAA tourney as well but its usually on ESPN 100 haha. It's so low on their priority list that it's sometimes hard to find. Few guys I wrestled with in high school actually went to Big 10 schools in college.

This is one of the sports that I usually don't watch during the olympics but since the start of the UFC, I have been seeing wrestlers dominated the sports like Couture and Ortiz and that made me interested about wrestling...

That is cool about the kids going to the Big 10. I know at my school we had one person go to college for wrestling. The rest were pretty much just your run of the mill wrestlers and never really made it big.

I watch the Olympic Wrestling and I pay attention to some High School wrestling because my cousin is on his high school them. I watch Ring of Honor every now and then, but I don't know if that's anymore real than the national wrestling shows.

Ring of Honor is a good show to watch. The only downside is I always have trouble finding it on the television. If it had more televised listings I am sure it would go a lot larger then what it already is!

I agree about RoH. It's on at an odd time (midnight-1 in Cincinnati) and only on the weekends. If it aired at a normal time, I def think more people would watch it.

I personally pay attention to FHSAA Wrestling and NCAA wrestling. My favorite wrestler from Florida has to be hands down Earl Hall and from NCAA Cael Sanderson. Both wrestlers are monsters.
