is this a good workout?

well im rather unfit at the moment and i have some physical limitation( i cannot bend)
was in a motorcycle accident and broke my back at the l5 and the coccyx limiting the up and down movement i can do so freeweights are out of the question mostly.
i do have alot of boxing equipment
what i have is this
80 pound bag with stand
boxing gloves
speedbag
10 pound velcro on arm weights
2 30 pound bumbell weights

i work 15 hour days and i need to start getting in shape what is the most effective way to build muscle with what i have and a limited time ( say 30 minutes a day)?

When you say up and down movement do you mean as in you cant perform a proper squat? Or up and down if you were to bend at the waist with your back straight and move your shoulders up and down?

Are you able to stretch your back to increase flexibility and mobility?

Just trying to get a better understanding of your current limitations.

You work 15 hour days so 75 hour weeks?? You have weekends off right?

Can you punch? I don't really understand what you exactly meant when you said you can't bend. I did, however, understand that you broke your back..that must have sucked. Get better quick.

Sounds pretty decent to me.
Are you eating right as well?
Through in a few jumprope sessions and you'll
be ripped and tight in no time.

lol guess not a lot of weight lifting doctors around. with my l5 broken i can use my legs as long as my back remains perfectly strait meaning cant lift weight from a lower position or in a way that could injure my back. i can punch and do anything else really but i cant honestly touch the floor lol

Any exercise you can do is probably good but you're probably going to look disproportional with your shirt off just to warn you. When will you be able to have full control of your body, do you know?

It is a good workout, it will increase your muscular endurance and give you a good cardio workout, but it will not enable you to build muscle. Doctors never advise using weights with any form of injury, but you can. I would consult a back injury specialist in weight training.

i cant resume lifting with my back ever. the injury is right now the best it will get so i will have to work with what i have now. i would not chance going against a doctor on this btw its a back injury and any slipping of disks can cause paralasis or other spine injury

Fair enough, it's your choice, and I understand your willingness to listen to your doctor. There are lots of bodybuilders and sports people who have recovered from a broken back, it doesn't necessarily mean you can't lift again. You should do some research on these people to see if they have any good advice for you.

Decent workout, but it depends on your needs, if you just want to keep fit then you can do a lot less but if you want to bulk up then you could add more but that is up to you.
