With April a week old we can now discuss who had the strongest April. I know many people will name their home team, but some people will look everywhere. So which team do you think had the strongest April month to help guarantee they are able to get in the playoffs?
The Texas Rangers did. They had the best record in baseball as well as "the highest batting average (.291), second-most home runs (36) and lowest ERA (2.81) in the A.L."(http://rockrivertimes.com/2012/05/03/ma ... rst-month/ )

Eh I don't really care about the NL but the Mets are surprising me this year, they're all right..and the Nats in first place? Wow.
The Yankees! They are a team that tries to buy their way to the championship each year. If most teams had the resources they do, it would easily level the field of play and make the game much more interesting instead of the boring teams getting beat up by the big money teams all the time.
