Biggest Impact Player

Biggest Impact Player

While many players make an impact on the team who do you think makes the biggest impact. Now I know for me the biggest player is usually the kicker. The kicker on any team is the one who can make or break a game, for example if the kicker misses an extra point it can be easy to lose the game by a single point.

That is a good point but in reality you could say that about any player on the field. I think a huge impact is when an interception happens. So I would say the cornerbacks/safety or basically the passing defense.

Anyone who can say that they own any part of the field. I'm not talking about a QB who usually has a nice pocket to throw from. That's dependent on how well his O-Line is doing that day. Guy's like Revis are impact players.

Revis Island. 'Nuff said.

The kicker is important in only certain situations. There could be only one game a season where it is a win or loss situation and the kicker needs a field goal. I am definitely going to have to go with the whole offensive line. Without a good OL the QB and RB wouldn't be able to do anything and the QB and RB of any team is usually considered the "star" player.

I would say the offensive line has a huge impact on getting teams wins or not. Protect the quarterback is the name of the game, and it could be the difference in winning or loosing.

Which team has the best offensive line would you say?

I would have to go with either The packers or the Patriots line (Even the Bengals have a good one). The packers have a lot of guys coming back who have started for them last year. I think the only new guy is their center. Aside from that they have pretty good back ups. They have a first round draft pick from last years draft (forget his name), and the others who had to start throughout last season played well.

The patriots had some key linemen retire and one hurt his ACL. So I am not sure how they will do this coming season but last season.

I mentioned the Bengals because they did rather well in preventing sacks last season which is probably why they did much better that normal with their rookie QB and receiver duo. They also had a lower number of hits on the QB allowed also.
