Is Any Player Better Than Michael Jordan

I know the league has plenty of good players now, but does any of them match the quality and rivalry of the Michael Jordan era? For me I grew up in this period of basketball and enjoyed watching the Bulls play. I still like the Bulls, but do not watch the sport as much because I find it hard to watch the game with my kids constantly interrupting me and the games.

Currently there is no one that is as good as Michael Jordan. Jordan was the best and probably will stay the best. He was one of the best finishers/scorers that the NBA has ever witnessed. There are some talented players in the NBA right now, but no one compares to number 23.

Not even the coveted Rose that everyone is crying foul about? I know he is a good player and everyone seems to think he is the best player. Is this really true then the town which had Jordan as a player in his prime thinks Rose can be better>

Kobe Bryant deserves to be compared with Michael Jordan. Some would argue Bryant is better than Jordan, but I don't think that is the case. Lebron James has been mentioned recently, he is not even close to the level of Jordan in my opinion. Jordan Crawford thinks he can be better than Jordan - he is delusional.

Jordan is the greatest player ever played in the NBA but I consider Kobe to be within his level as a player and popularity. Kobe is also as good as a Captain as Jordan.

Jordan is Jordan and Kobe is Kobe, both elite players and is on different level than other players today. Even Lebron can't be compared to Kobe. Kobe has all the skills to be in the same level as Jordan.

I don't think so. Jordan could destroy double teams and even triple teams zone defenses. The entire team's defense was focused on limiting Jordan but it was impossible.

But you could make an argument for Magic Johnson or Larry Bird...both these guys were competitive and talented as Jordan, but they weren't as athletic so that held them back a little.

Michael Jordan Is the Greatest Basketball Player Ever!He proved it so many times.Only 4 teams had won 3 straight titles.MJ did it twice. 2 of those happened in the 50's and 60's.He was 6 out of 6 in the finals. 6 times NBA Finals MVP. he was so good in regular season but he was even better in the playoffs.41 pts per game in 1993 finals.Highest scoring average in both regular season and playoff. 9 time all NBA Defensive First Team. 10 time leading scorer. 3 times he led the league in steals.The only player with 200 steals and 100 blocks in a season. he has done it twice in his career. and many many more!

Well, hands down to MJ, he is the greatest but you cannot underestimate Kobe Bryant, he idolizes Jordan and see how he can move like him and is on the same path to his greatness. No doubt, Kobe will he hailed in that level one day!
