Taylor Lautner's workout regime?

Postby kingusama92 » Fri Apr 27, 2012 12:29 am

I was wondering what his regime looked like.

I don't agree with his claims that he gained "30 pounds of muscle" in one year, this is a load of garbage.

There is no way anyone could add 30 pounds of muscle in one year without using steroids. It's an impossible thing to do.

I don't even know who Taylor Lautner is, but it is possible to gain 30lbs of muscles in a year if you are a beginner, your training and nutrition are optimal, and you are a genetic freak.
I just looked up pictures of him - it's hard to tell - he could easily have used steroids, especially in the industry he's in - but he could have built his physique without drugs.

I think it is possible and I doubt Taylor Lautner is using steroids. Maybe supplements, but I think his muscle gain was probably in the realm of 20 pounds and not 30.

Yeah, I would agree with a 15-20 pound figure, not 30.

30 pounds of muscle is intense. He wasn't that skinny a year before that statement, so for him to put on that much muscle is a foolish claim.

Steroids is probably an unfair accusation on my part, but he's the one who is lying!

I think it is also annoying that in every movie he is in he has to take his shirt off. Just my two cents though.

Maybe he put on a total of 30 lbs total and attributed most of that to muscle growth? It is not impossible to gain 30 pounds when you are average to begin with. It is difficult, yes, but with the right trainer, dietician, etc (that he can afford) I'm sure he could have done it.

He's not even that big, he's probably in the range 160-170.He has good genetics if you look at his "before pics" and more money and time than you, so it'd probably take you realistically 5months+ more than him to get similar results.. I doubt he did anything special, you just have to be dedicated and have the genetic potential.

A lot of you are not remembering that he was "skinnyfat" before he gained this muscle.

He was around 140 so this would only make him 170. At 5'10, that is not very impressive and I'm sure most of you are bigger. I did that in a couple of months personally..just eat mad food. :geek:

You're underestimating how long it takes to build dense muscle for the person with average genetics. It takes years of hard work and dedication to build a physique like that. He might be at the higher end of the genetic pool but I wouldn't be surprised if he has been on a steroid cycle.

He has both genetics and age on his side. At his age, it is the easiest to pack on muscle. Clearly it did take hard work and dedication to build his physique even with steroids I'm thinking.
