Agree with most of your tips, apart from the breakfast one. Skipping breakfast is not a bad thing, especially if you want to get lean to reveal your abs.

You might get skinny if you don't eat breakfast (since it might be less calories in the day), but is it healthy to do that to your body? I think a light breakfast would be helpful, say, a slice of toast and some fruit just so you can have some energy at the beginning of your day.

I agree with shaun on this one. We are both on the intermittent fast and its going really well for me.

Good tips, some of these are general tips, not just for abs.

As long as you still consume the same amount of calories, skipping breakfast can be beneficial for fat loss. Instead of eating 500 calories for breakfast, consume an extra 500 calories post-workout.

A slice of toast is not a good breakfast either. A good breakfast would consist of protein, fat, and maybe some carbs in the form of fruit or vegetables.

Totally agree with said posts.

You build abs in the kitchen!

I seems silly to say, but I do notice people's stomachs... men and women. I do not care if your abs actually show, but it is a turn off to see a gut on either sex.

Hey doing 1,000 correct sit ups a day will get you abs eventually.

No way you can't. I know you're exaggerating but that is actually an interesting idea. There was some football player who only did pushups and sit ups and he was so jacked and moderately sized. It was a different time though, now we have gyms so readily available.

I have adopted a gymnastic approach to my ab training. You only need to look at the abs of gymnasts to realise how effective it is for your core and abs. The basis of ab training the gymnastic way is the 'hollow position', stomach in, back rounded, and hips down. Your lower back should remain grounded when doing exercises like sit ups and other ab exercises.

Seems like getting abs is more about the diet than the actual workout...

I've been eyeballing my belly. Thanks for the tips. I agree with them. It makes sense. I think some people just want to starve themselves or overtrain their abs, wondering why they don't see results.
