My favorite weight gainer is BSN's True Mass. If you mix it with fat free milk you get 800 calories with 62 grams of protein. Without milk its 630 calories and 46 grams of protein.

The mass gainers and whey concentrates I've taken give me stomach problems. What to do?

Try to find a zero lactose one.

Make sure you're not allergic to anything that would make you have a reaction.

Also are you taking it with milk? If you are, try it with water.

Another good way to gain mass is take Protein + whole foods (fruit, peanut butter, oats especially steel cut oats, whole milk or whatever you want. You are easily able to control your macros and you will get more out of it for cheaper than pounding down weight gainer shakes.

My favorite weight gainer? Bread. It's loaded on carbs and I love the taste. I eat a loaf a day when I'm bulking, sometimes 1 1/2, and I still have my normal meals.

I would suggest making your own. Just use normal whey and add in whatever you want, pnb, oats etc. Its nicer and cheaper and not full of sugar.

I think if your talking about supplement wise. Probably Serious Mass is best from my personal experience followed by ISO Mass xtreme gainer after that. In all honesty though you would be better off getting oats, whole milk, banana, apple, couple tbps of peanut butter and blend it. Would equal about the same calories and protein without the dextrose from serious mass for example. However Serious Mass is more convenient and then when I add whole foods into it. It becomes unreal!

I agree, those mass gainers are garbage. Its just sugar. You can achieve the same results as throwing some pb and a scoop of ice cream into your post workout shake. I am not saying to do that , I am saying that is the equivalent.

I think the proof is in the pudding on this one. Mass gainers are just overly priced rubbish.

I've heard that mass gainers are a waste of money. They are just filled with more carbs and fats more than anything. Whole food is recommended.
