For me the old school bodybuilders win no contest. I enjoy watching the current bodybuilders but the smaller physiques are more aesthetic in my opinion. I wonder how the sport will change the next 10-20 years.

I would say old school as well. I think that sometimes in today's bodybuilding, some people look just totally not natural. I think a man can have some heft muscles while still looking a little more natural.

I totally agree with you. Most professional bodybuilders today are just not visually appealing to the general public. The abuse of HGH and Insulin makes them have distended guts and they look pregnant at times.

The 50's is my favourite era for bodybuilding. Physiques in the golden era were classical and aesthetically pleasing, unlike the steroid fueled freaks in the modern era. Bodybuilding legends like Gironda, Oliva, Parks, and Tanny etc.

Wow, these guys are the beast. Look at those muscles. I don't see any difference from the old and the new, they all look solid to me.

I think I prefer the old bodybuilders. I will always be a fan of Arnold and I think he laid the way for the sport, if you want to call it a sport.

True. In my opinion guys like Arnold were at the edge of the borderline of aesthetic. Any bigger and women think you look disgusting.

Exactly what I was thinking. I do not want to see a guy that is comical big, although it seems that is what the sport has become.

My favourite era for bodybuilding was the 50's, the golden era. Legends like Parks, Tanny, Gironda, and Reeves. I preferred the physiques in this era, the classic Herculean physique.
